AUSSIE WILD PHOTOGRAPHY
Randall Bryett grew up on the Sunshine Coast of Australia when it was still very undeveloped and full of incredible wildlife experiences. He indulged in finding and identifying animals and reptiles at every opportunity. He also enjoyed some the
world’s best fishing and surfing around every corner. He has worked in many aspects of the fishing industry including chasing the Giant Black Marlin at the prestigious Lizard Island. He is an avid fly fisherman who likes to find his own path, and this is where he met his future wife and moved to the United States.
Always a passionate wildlife lover and now a photographer with an intense love and concern for the outdoors Randall’s first priority is the welfare of any animal that is his subject. For him, this not about money, fame or glory. It's all about our natural world that is quickly disappearing before our eyes. Randall believes he can bring awareness of this "other world" through his images. Today, society thrives on flicking through media feeds on their electronic devices. It is his mission to give wildlife some of that facetime, so to speak. Randall loves to say, “It is amazing how many times I have been asked "what animal is that?" and how good it feels to say something like "it is a badger and they live here". Disturbing feeding animals, nesting birds or any natural behavior is something he tries to avoid.
Randall says, “Personally, I feel a deep connection with animals and seem to be able to keep my interactions calm and peaceful when out in the field. The bottom line is that if I know there is no way to get the image I would rather
just observe from a distance.”
Randall resides in Monterey County with his wife, many pets and the abundant wildlife in and around his home.
