With an art instructor as his father, Williams developed an interest in art early in life. From the time he picked up a crayon, he explained, his family encouraged his abilities. Exhibits of his art have been displayed in numerous regional and national exhibitions and has received over thirty ribbon awards.

His works are represented in numerous prestigious individual and corporate collections.

The process starts with line, value drawings, and color sketches on paper. For me, color is what bring nature to life. So most of the process in my art has to do with discovering the perfect color that reflects what the eye beholds. Once the color is achieved I can place brush to the canvas and that's when the art begins.
