YEAHYEAHPONYPRINCE
YeahYeahPonyPrince is a collaboration between two artists, Jodi Mullen and Oscar Bevilacqua.
Our art, is the process of hand painted linoleum block prints on our line of sustainable clothing which is manufactured locally in Auburn CA. The art and technique is influenced from Ukiyo-e, a traditional Japanese woodblock printing technique and hand painting. This, has resulted in a new tradition of technique, unlike any other.
Jodi Mullen is a naturally inclined artist from a very young age. She received her BA, from Rutgers University in NJ, with a focus in Oil Painting. Her artistic influences are vast and have ranged from Pablo Picasso, Georgia O’Keeffe, Katsushika Hokusai, Vincent Van Gogh, Andy Warhol to African primitive art. Her creativity and utter abandonment into her art are a testament of her passion.
Oscar graduated with his BA in Business Marketing from Sonoma State and his MBA in Finance from Sacramento State. Mr. Bevilacqua is a self taught painter and percussionist originating from Buenos Aires, Argentina. His artistic influences range from Omar Hakim, Pablo Neruda, Federico Garcia Lorca, Pablo Picasso, and Diego Rivera. His dedication of knowledge, adventure and growth provide an intangible force.
